Environment

Rommco (UK) Ltd is a company primarily involved in the manufacture of thermoplastic road marking materials. Our arrangements and organisation for the protection of the environment are aimed at all our employees, subcontractors and clients. In respect of our clients, they will be in a position to measure our standard of achievement on site against this document.

The Group Policy is to operate the business in a manner which protects the local, regional and global environment; the extent to which the Company can influence its clients and end-users through information and advice by operating on a more environmentally-conscious basis.

• The responsibility for approving, implementing and arrangements rests with the Managing Director of Rommco (UK) Ltd.
• The successful operation of its activities beliefs lies in the active participation of every member of the Company to achieve and maintain the highest practicable standards of good, efficient use of materials and the monitoring of the volume and disposal of by-products and waste.
• Training will be provided enabling employees to implement fully the environmental action plans and so participate in policy formulation.
• The Company?s activities will be conducted paying due regard to all statutory requirements, with the appropriate safeguards taken against exposing all employees and the general public to our acts or omissions.
• Assessments, audits and general inspections will be undertaken at regular intervals by those with the responsibilities and competencies to do so. This will enable us to identify significant hazards and plan for their elimination, reduction and control.
• The Environmental Policy is communicated throughout the Group to all its direct, indirect employees and subsidiaries and will be reviewed annually or when appropriate taking into account the changes in legislation and Company practice.
